The Music Meme
Jim hit me with the Music meme and being a good Snooze Crew&trade employee I've finished it.
Total volume of music files on my computer: Home: about a gig, at work none.
The last CD I bought was: License to Chill - Jimmy Buffett.
Song playing right now: We don't listen to music at work. The simple minds I work with get distracted by noise. That and they squabble like little bitches over the type of music.
Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:
Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:
The Weather is Here I Wish You Were Beautiful - Jimmy Buffett: The story of my love life (prior to meeting my wife).
One Particular Harbor - Jimmy Buffett: First song I heard at a Buffett Show.
The Ballard of Spider John - Jimmy Buffett
Pacing the Cage - Jimmy Buffett
The Walk - Sawyer Brown
I'm supposed to pass this on to five people, so if you're reading this and haven't done it yet, TAG.
Hey! You're supposed to tag 5 people. If you only give it to people who haven't done it yet you'll only tag 2.

I love Jimmy Buffett, too! His was the next best concert I have ever been to. And the last CD I bought was License to Chill, also.
I cannot limit myself to a few songs that mean the most to me. Most of my life's memories are centered around music, and many many songs have deep meanings due to the memories they envoke.
Jimmy's songs remind me of college days and present days. I love Margaritaville (college) and Trip Around the Sun (these days).
The best concert ever was The Eagles...the farewell concert they are doing now. (I didn't see them in my college days.) I caught a bit of the concert on tv this week, and got excited all over again about hearing them. Wow! Absolutely fantastic. Lyin' Eyes, Take It Easy...with harmonies like that, how can you sing a wrong note!
Third best concert I ever went to was McCartney. I went to that one with basil....such marvelous music...what a legend... Beatles songs that just make you cry tears of joy...I wish I had been able to see the Beatles back in the 60's.
Fourth best concert was John Denver. I feel the wind, the water, and the grandeur of nature when I listen to his music.
Fifth best was Alan Jackson/Martina McBride. It's Five 0'Clock Somewhere (with Jimmy Buffett) and Trip Around the Sun (with JB) were two favorites.
So I have shared 5 favorite concerts... I hope that sufficed.
